Developing Your Artistic Approach in Photography with Camille Rose

3-hour small-group workshop · PWYC

How do you move beyond simply taking photographs to developing a body of work that feels distinctly your own?

Through discussion, exercises, and guided reflection, participants will be encouraged to identify recurring themes and instincts within their own work, experiment with new ways of seeing, and begin articulating what makes their photographic perspective unique.

Designed for a small group, the workshop offers space for conversation, exchange, and individual feedback in a relaxed and supportive environment. No specific level of experience is required — the workshop is open to photographers interested in developing a more intentional and personal approach to their practice.

About Camille

Camille Rose is a Montreal-based artist and photographer. Her work explores memory, identity, and the materiality of the image through photography, installation, and hybrid processes that combine analogue and digital techniques. She is particularly interested in the relationship between an image and its medium, the traces left by time, and the transformations of memory. Her practice favours an intuitive approach, in which gesture, material, and light contribute to a sensitive reflection on what persists, becomes distorted, or disappears.
